Advanced Techniques
NEWLY REVAMPED FOR THE 2022/2023 SEASON! Advanced Techniques is a specialty class with rotating coaches offered on Mondays 6-6:30pm for skaters who are looking to supplement the skills they learn in Learn to Skate. The focus of this multi-level bridge class is to learn fun specialty moves, power skating, spins and artistry while skating with peers of varying ages and levels. Advanced Techniques is for skaters Basic 4 and up who aspire to go beyond the basics and improve their strength, balance, and confidence.
Session themes will rotate with the coaches, offering a new, fun theme every week! Skaters will have a solid introduction to power, edges, moves in the field, choreography, spins, jumps, footwork, and ice dance!

Trial Private Lessons
Forestwood coaches are now offering trial private lessons for Learn to Skate students that do not already have a private coach. This allows your skater to see if private (one-on-one) lessons are for them without the commitment. If you enjoy them, you can continue!
