Board members play a vital role in ensuring Forestwood continues to provide quality skating opportunities, memorable experiences, and a strong sense of community for skaters and families of all ages and levels.
Forestwood's Board of Directors is strongest when its members bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to serving the needs of the club as a whole. We welcome individuals who are collaborative, community-minded, and willing to share their skills and expertise to help our club thrive.
Responsibilities:

Attend monthly board meetings.

Participate in committee work and club projects.

Assist with fundraising efforts.

Help plan club events, test sessions, exhibitions, and competitions.

Support communication between the club and its members.

Vote on decisions that impact the club's future.
Time Commitment:

Approximately 1 meeting per 1-2 months

Several volunteer hours outside of meetings on a regular basis

Each board term is 2 years
Who Can Serve?

Parents, skaters & coaches. Must be a Home Club member of Forestwood.

No previous board experience required.

Helpful skills include: organization, event planning, finance, marketing, fundraising, etc.
